Here it is!
I bit the bullet, and chopped my hair. It is shorter that we originally planned, but I really like it. It will take some getting used to, but it's fun and I always wore it in a ponytail anyway. Now, I can have my dear husband massage my head like I massage his. I can run without having to worry if I have a rubberband, and not use as much shampoo. I will have to visit my stylist more often tho'... who cares.

Your neck looks longer and your jawline shows. The back is beautifully cut. Those long pieces in the front would make me crazy though. I wouldn't use pomade. I would use something to make it scruffier in the front.
I like it a little fluffier too. Marty (my stylist) tends to use a lot of product,and likes the "sleek" style. she shows me the realistic side of my hair. to look like vicky, i'd have to back comb it. this is what happends when i don't really spend a lot of time with it. it is very different this morning. my hair is cofused, and is sticking up all funny...maybe it's bed head??

Every time I get my hair cut, she puts all kind of stuff. I think it looks better if it's free to move.
You have sooo much hair that it would look great a bit mussy. You could put a little matte root lifter to give it a little movement.

you might have luck with just a nice dry hairspray. i have el cheapo mc cheaperson stuff samy the hairspray [blue can] and it works great. light and not sticky.
i also love short sexy hair slept in cream. it's like a cross between pomade and gel. not greasy or too crunchy.
